Record Store: LINKIN PARK's 'Meteora' Is Not Good Value For Money

A chain of stores in Maryland and Virginia has decided not to sell LINKIN PARK's "Meteora" during its first two weeks of release because of the album's suggested retail price of $19.98.

Olsson's Books And Records General Manager Brooke Higdon explains the decision by saying, "It is our buyers' opinion that 'Meteora''s list price does not represent good value for money for customers, and crosses the line in the manufacturer's continuing exorbitant pricing structure."

As previously reported, LINKIN PARK are on track to sell about 850,000 copies of "Meteora" in its first week of release, making it an easy #1 on next week's Billboard Pop Album chart.
